Plenty O Winter to go around

Lots o Winter! !This is a gorgeous photo of snow in Walla Walla taken by a Walla Walla photo diva.

Winter is all around us...brother in Walla Walla says more than three feet where he lives; the WW Airport reports more than 25 inches fell continuously in the last 24 hours. Same same for Spokane, Couer d'Alene and all along the Blue Mountain corridor to our West. We have enough snow and ice to dirty the cars, make driving semi-trecherous in spots and need to stay bundled up in all outdoor interactions....unless you are my 17 year old, in which case you revert to a hoodie sweatshirt as soon as the temps got back into the teens....
Shopping is nearly done; one third of the wrapping is done, packages in the back of the car to mail today....and then baking and cooking this weekend.
Last night was the office holiday party...I am sure it was a good time, lots was planned but not for James and I. We thrift shopped, ate at Granny's (bad food bad food, don't go there ever again) and picked up a few stockings to stuff.
Our family stockings are officially on the missing list. These are the kids stockings from their childhood and the seven grandkid stockings I made from scratch. So off to Joanne's for more stocking material and a new glue gun.
I left Alexa at the dining room table making her name in sequins on her new stocking. I just know I am going to find the old ones as soon as these are hung. But move on...there are goodies to fill the stockings...
Last day of school for the girl...hope her retake math test helps ...we hear now her CAD class is taking her under.
As for me...talked with both the big kids last night--their worlds are right and therefore, so is mine. Off to James' oldest in Tri-Cities to celebrate the Christmas day with them. Two holiday parties tonight and tomorrow then a New Year's eve dinner with a 30s couple who are precious, unique and keep us entertained and refreshed...
Getting ready for work now...TTFN and TGIF!
