SF daughter sent me the above link to a very entertaining and right on article on coffee art and coffee history and thoughts. If you love coffee...or talent...enjoy!
Neglected to write for the past week. Another week being blasted out of the work cannon! Actually accomplished my portion of a couple projects; Hurrah! Am disentangled from the young underperforming coworker. Her light was burning when I left last night to finish a projects so she could have a three day weekend..first time in the five months on board I have seen her put in any extra time. As the mother of kids her age, I am always watching and hoping for signs of needed, not hurried maturity. Not yet. Pretty self absorbed--and I like her very much. So nuff said.
The tree is up...the rest of the decor is still in boxes in the garage. A few do-dads are hanging at work so am hoping for some full on get er done this weekend. Have a funeral tomorrow that I want to attend.
Spent a portion of last evening with youngest daughter in the ER, with her bf who was severely dehydrated. He passed out at home. His dad was drunk bringing him in, disappeared for awhile and came back more drunk. The nurse said something to him in code to let him know she knew. The boy was better after a couple bags of electrolytes infused. The mother wasnt called, the dad said because he didnt "want to hear it from her." And the bf's 13 year old brother had not come home for two days. The dad was complaining about that....complaining.....not looking or caring but talking about how inconvenient it was for him. My fingers clinching my purse keep trying to go into an LOSER sign...Wow.
Now that daughter is nearly finished with her tooth implant process, James started his dental work on Monday...and by Thursday, he had a necessary tooth surgically removed. Lots of pain for him yest... I just know a letter from the L&I judge would help so much.
The coffee pot died Monday early morning; the laptop started its death scene Wed and gave it up last night - glad we got the five year full ride warranty....so will be waiting for the third electronic gizmo to give it up.
Richard, I hope you are feeling better!
Sharon and John, lots of prayers going out to your kids in their loss. It's a tough blow.
I hope the hands on the clock turn fast, fast, faster today. Just want to go home!
And read some books.
I miss my big kids. TTFN
