This angel is one of my best friend's first grandchild. I love the beauty, born on my bd.Yesterday was a bit dark; today its back to the HoHo'init.
The better half and I got the grandkid shopping done last night. I love a 60 percent off price with a 15 percent off additional coupon at the register, for anything gifty or holiday-y. Made for bargains indeed. It was fun trying to personalize the gifts for the 7. Everything from a leatherman's fishing tool/knife for the nearly 13 year old to a lined and warm hoodie sweatshirt, size 2 , for the 7 month old to games and walkie talkies, books, fancy socks and more for the little ones. Youngest daughter will wrap these today. Tomorrow, we deliver. Tonight we are eating at Assisted Living...long and short story and then later tonight we go with our friends in their 30s who are lively and fun out to a fancy Christmas Eve meal. They are taking their 9 year old and we our 17 year old. Different but I have to get used to different. Daughter is in AZ with her beau and son will spend Christmas with his. I them. Oldest daughter sent a picture, text message with audio. I loved it and have been playing it over and over.
