Let's have quite a year shall we? So long '08!

As a nation, how bad off can we be when we are fighting for snowman's rights? Up in Anchorage they want to ban the oversize SNOWZILLA. The friends of Snow, have set up a fundraising support site to raise money to fund Snow's ongoing existance. www.snowzilla.org. It's a hoot and keeps the world from being too dark.

Municipal officials in Anchorage, Alaska have given a cease-and-desist order to builders of the giant snowman that made appearances the last three years in an east Anchorage neighborhood. I especially love the comment where Gov. Palin pardoned the TG turkey, but has it in for the snowman that brings happiness to so many! When I woke early....this morning....from another night's sleep I did it winding up another night of dreaming. Last night's dream featured college friends that I stay in email touch with, stopping by to tell me of their travels just finished or those plans they are getting ready to enjoy (in real life, two have recently retired and are traveling!) The dream two nights ago starred a friend who used to write with me, initials N2, and self on a Thelma and Louise spree. Shiny convertibles, high speeds and saying the words "cop-pah" out the sides of our mouth. Considering she is nearly a church deacon/elder and crime doesn't interest either of us, only when we were writing those sad type stories for the newspaper, don't know where that crime spree came from. I woke up thinking, I can't go to jail!!!!!
I have a dream book that has some pop, fast analysis in it. Had it since college and I need to open it to see what these dreams might reveal... hope it's something positive and downright swell for the new year which is hours away~
The really good news for me is because I am dreaming, I am also in the REM or third stage of sleep. I would venture to say, years have passed since I dreamed two nights in a row. As a life long insomniac, stage 3 of sleep, the stage where your rest happens, rarely happens with me.
Got to run. Last day of work this week... love these three day work weeks BTW!
